	Marshall BB2 Bluesbreaker Guitar Effects Pedal	MARSHALL BB2 Bluesbreaker Guitar Effects Pedal The BB2 Bluesbreaker is Marshall’s blues overdrive drive pedal - effectively two pedals in one. There are two modes for the player to switch between; boost mode and blues mode. This effects pedal allows you to recreate the sound of a vintage valve amp for the tone purists or simply to boost the guitar signal for those bluesy solos. Switching Between Modes The two modes are controlled by the dial to the far left of the pedal switch between boost and blues. The boost mode features a clean boost that is controlled by the pedals volume dial (far right). This does not affect your original sound and is simply used to boost the signal which may be lost when using long leads. Blues mode recreates the sound of a vintage valve amplifier but will not alter the tone of your amp. It will push the amplifier further into natural distortion for those bluesy licks. Adjustable Drive & Tone In addition to the mode dial there are three other controls; Drive, Tone and volume. Drive increases the amount of distortion when in blues mode. Tone affects the treble frequency of your guitar signal to add extra brightness in blues mode and the volume control literally adjusts the pedal volume. When in boost mode it controls the level of the signal to the amplifier. These dials allow you to customise a tone to your liking. There is also the option of an extra footswitch to alternate between boost and blues mode when used in a live setting. 	Marshall ED1 Compressor Sustainer Pedal	MARSHALL ED1 Compressor Sustainer Pedal The ED-1 Compressor is one of the most useful effects pedals available to musicians looking to improve their tone. This Marshall pedal allows you to modify the sustain and attack of your guitar sound and assign compression to certain frequencies. The compressor pedal will sense the level of the incoming guitar signal and as the signal decays the internal circuitry is boosted to provide extra level and added sustain. Emphasis Control The ED-1 features an Emphasis control that allows you to specify which end of the aural spectrum you wish to compress. For example, if you turn the dial all the way to ‘Hi’ you will emphasise the treble frequencies of your signal and compress the bass frequencies to provide a really twangy, funky tone. Attack & Compression In addition to the emphasis control, the pedal features attack and compression controls. The attack enables you to dictate how quick the compression is applied after you pick a string. Increased attack will give you a sharper sound that is ideal for funky lines. The compression control is fairly self explanatory in that it alters the level of compression. Increased levels give you a smoother sound, ironing out the peaks and troughs of your original signal. 	Marshall EH1 Echohead Delay Guitar Effects Pedal	MARSHALL EH1 Echohead Delay Guitar Effects Pedal The EH-1 Echohead is a member of Marshall’s stomp box FX family. This small robust unit is used to create a number of delay effects for the electric guitar. Six Variable Modes The Marshall EH-1 has six different modes to choose from using the dial to the far left of the pedal. The modes are hifi, analogue, tape echo, multi-tap, reverse and mod filter. The hifi setting creates a solid delay line with crystal clear repeats of the input sound. Analogue adds subtle tone by filtering the echoes to recreate the sound of analogue delay circuits. Tape echo recreates the random wow and flutter of an old tape motor. Multi-tap creates multiple echoes for a dense rhythmic sound. The reverse setting changes the echoes to form psychedelic and hypnotic textures. Lastly the mod filter adds a modulating filter to your delay to give movement and depth. Easy Edit Using the delay time, feedback and level dials it is really simple to edit the delay sound to suit your own taste. Each dial is fairly self explanatory, with levels that allow you to set the amount of effect assigned to your guitar signal. Feedback controls the amount of output signal that is fed back and mixed with the input increasing the time taken for the echoes to delay. The delay time can be set from 20ms to 2000ms controlling time between delays. It allows you to recreate that classic overdriven Marshall sound or go to the extreme aggressive distortion of modern heavy rock. The unit features an incredible six controls and two modes that allow you to tailor your distortion sound to pretty much anything your heart desires. Six Adjustable Controls This Marshall unit features six adjustable controls; gain, volume, treble, bass, frequency and contour. With this array of controls you can customise your sound massively. Using the gain control you can increase the amount of distortion from crunchy chords to super saturated lead tones. The volume simply adjusts the overall noise produced by the JH-1, allowing you to boost or cut volume when the pedal is in use. The treble and bass controls the high and low EQ, while ‘freq’ allows you to pick out the frequencies that the contour will ‘scoop’.
